I use a lot of trackers. One changed my life.
My continuous glucose monitor (CGM) helped me resolve my prediabetes better than exercise or eating a strict Mediterranean diet. My body was losing the fight against insulin resistance and none of my doctors seemed alarmed.
Reversing my high fasting insulin and glucose didn’t just fix a few lab values, it changed the trajectory of my heart, brain, hormones, and everything downstream of that one signal. In women, prediabetic glucoses in the range of 100-125 mg/dL are associated with worse vascular damage than in men.
Let me know if you’ve tried a CGM and what you learned.
Have you found that this device outranks other wearables?
Has your doctor been on board?
