They are very powerful and can help us have success or failure in life.\u00a0They can diffuse or escalate conflict. They can build people up or tear people down.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Words can be powerful not only when speaking to others but\u00a0also in how we speak to ourselves. Accessing that power\u00a0starts with changing our words, our thoughts, and our actions so that you can be more mentally and emotionally at peace. All day every day, we have thoughts and an internal voice that can be peaceful, powerful, and uplifting, and allow us to make effective choices \u2014 or we can use our own words to be loathing and self-critical.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Mentally and emotionally at peace people usually say these phrases casually:<\/h2>\n<h3>1. &#8216;I can&#8217;<\/h3>\n<p>Knowing what we can do lifts our spirits.\u00a0&#8216;I can\u2019t&#8217; statements defeat us. Focusing and saying out loud what you can do instead of what you can\u2019t do will allow us to focus on our strengths rather than our weaknesses or lack. Hate disrupts our peace and steals our joy.\u00a0It is wise to focus on what we love rather than what we hate. \u00a0Emphasizing what we love, like, and admire is an instant mood lifter.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>5. &#8216;I will&#8217;<\/h3>\n<p>Do your part every day by stating what you will do instead of what you won\u2019t do. State desires and dreams as I will achieve and attain them instead of fearing what will not come to pass. \u00a0Say, I will find my ideal mate, I will work my dream job, I will have all that my heart desires.
