Over the course of 45 minutes, Altman discussed a variety of subjects including the Hugging Face hacking incident, recursive self-improvement, and the possibility of building an AI that was beyond human control. On the latter, he said it was \u201cabsolutely\u201d possible, but vowed to take actions to prevent that from happening, even if it meant pausing training, adding that \u201cthere are risks we should not be able to incur on behalf of humanity.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<blockquote class=\"duet--article--blockquote _1lkuyz82 _1lkuyz80 _19wv7tc9\">\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup _1lkuyz89 _1lkuyz88 _19wv7tc1\">\u201cWe\u2019re not rushing into an IPO.
